UNIMATIC Unveils the Toolwatch Series: Your Perfect Adventure Companion?

Unimatic Toolwatch series

Hey there, fellow watch enthusiasts! I've got some exciting news from UNIMATIC, our favourite Italian watch brand. They’ve just launched their brand-new Toolwatch series, and it’s everything we could ask for in a watch designed for adventure.

A New Era of Durability and Functionality

The Toolwatch series is all about resilience and versatility. Powered by a trusty quartz movement and featuring an in-house designed 360° protection system, these watches are built to take on whatever life throws at you. With water resistance up to 300 meters, they're perfect for those of us who love extreme sports or just a good swim.

There are four models to choose from: the Modello Uno and Modello Quattro, each available in both time-only and GMT variants. They beautifully combine elegance and performance, making them perfect for any adventure you embark on.

Built to Last

One of the coolest things about the Toolwatch series is that it meets the tough MIL-STD-810 standard, a benchmark set by the US military for durability. UNIMATIC put these watches through some serious tests, including drop tests from 1.22 meters onto industrial concrete. All five test units came through without a scratch, proving they’re as tough as nails.

Design and Features

Each watch in the series features a sleek matte black dial with custom-designed Arabic numerals and Super-LumiNova® illumination, so you can read the time easily, no matter the lighting. The robust 316L stainless steel case, with a refined sandblasted finish, pairs perfectly with a scratch-resistant sapphire lens. They’re durable but still look amazing.

One of my favourite features is the subtle orange accent on the second hand, adding a pop of colour without being too flashy. The GMT variants also have a handy date window and an orange triangle under the GMT window for added clarity. The Modello Uno even has a rotating bezel with a countdown timer, perfect for keeping track of time during your adventures.

Pricing and Availability

And now, the part you’ve been waiting for – the prices:

  • Modello Uno UT1: €425

  • Modello Uno UT1-GMT: €525

  • Modello Quattro UT4: €350

  • Modello Quattro UT4-GMT: €450

Each watch is individually numbered and comes with a versatile two-piece black nylon strap with cross-stitching for added functionality. Plus, they come in a practical travel pouch, which is perfect for storing an extra watch while you’re on the go.
